I relate, oh so well to the chorus verse, “I used to dream” of T.I.’s On Top of the World song. Now, like T.I., I’m sitting on the top of MY world seeing my dreams become a reality.
A year ago this coming week, I ran into a well-known entertainment publicist, Lynn Jeter. I told myself I was going to get to know her and follow in her footsteps. Well, here I am, WORKING for her, walking the same red carpets I was eager to one day work, booking her clients for events.
Absolutely bananas to wake up to your dreams, sit on top of YOUR world and smile. Despite all negative thoughts, people and situations, I am here. In LA working, living and smiling.
My superwoman playlist and surrounding myself around nothing but positive people has made a huge difference.
If you’re reading this and wishing you were feeling the way I’m feeling but just not quite there yet, I recommend reading, The Secret over and over and over again, create a super woman/man music playlist and play it every time a negative thought, voice, situation or person consumes you. You’ll wake up from your dream, on top of your world with only those worth being there with you. TRUST
I freelanced my way through Europe with a pocket full of motivation and a mind filled with dreams. Now I’m in LA enjoying my career and watching the Hollywood lights gleam!
My ultimate dream is to promote films from script to screen. My experiences range from promoting films and talent at press junkets, press conferences and red carpet events at film festivals (Cannes, Venice and SXSW) and venues around the Los Angeles area.
